About Dan

Dan was previously a co-owner in a PT clinic with several roles since its inception in 2011. He has practised in healthcare with several licences and roles for 20+ years. 


Dan attended St. Joseph-Scollard for his time in high school. Then he moved on to Canadore College before completing his Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Ottawa. In 2017, he completed his doctorate in Physical Therapy at D’Youville College in Buffalo, New York. He is a Registered Physical Therapist from the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario and in New York state. 


He has management experience in team leadership at the Ottawa Hospital Emergency Department. He was a Nursing Professor at Heritage College in Hull, QC, and has been part of multiple research teams conducting studies in Emergency Medicine for the Ottawa Health Research Institute. He was also part of a research team at the Department of Human Kinetics at U of O, observing intramuscular thermoregulation. 


Dan has skills in pediatric neuromuscular assessments and treatments pertaining to gross and fine motor delays in infancy to early childhood. He is trained and rostered with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario to perform acupuncture and dry needling as well as spinal and joint manipulation.


Dan has a particular interest in sports injuries and rehabilitation. He has certification in level 3 training with Hockey Canada and was part of the NHL Scouting Combine from 2016-2019 in the anthropometric evaluation of draft candidates in Buffalo, New York.
